The company’s financial performance is influenced by the USD/MYR exchange rate, as all of its products are imported from the United States. Amway’s net profit for Q1 ended March 31 fell 60% to RM13.2 million from RM32.7 million a year ago, due to higher product costs and lower sales volume. Revenue dropped to RM294.3 million from RM322 million, mainly driven by weaker demand for health and wellness products and home appliances.
