This is the bed of potato leaves my parents have been growing for 3 years already. These potato leaves are quite tough as compared to other vegetables. It grows very fast (around 3 weeks to harvest) and is quite pest resistent. Occasionally there will be a few holes in the leaves due to some lady bug but overall it’s much tougher than other leafy greens like Kai Lan.
On the economics of growing your own vegetables, you can’t really save money on growing vegetables yourself but you get to eat organic vegetables that are free from pesticides.
