People say being busy in these weak property markets is good.
This house tenant just left 1 month ago in November, got the whole December to spruce the place up.
I got outside help to cut the grass and also paint the inside walls.
I DIY the entire parquet flooring with my DIY Dad. The original parquets were rotting and there were many loose pieces. The parquet units can be purchased from hardware shop in fix quantities. The replacement units are not sandpapered and shellac.

One tip to note is the parquet units has got 2 sizes, the standard size and a shorter size. The shorter size is commonly used in older houses. There are also some unusual sizes which is actually custom clipped by the contractor previously to fit the leftover space. I bought the wrong size for the 1st batch and then had to use a mini saw to saw it shorter.
The story here ends well because I was able to rent this unit out to a bunch of young professionals. I probably saved around 5-7K for the parquet replacement. It took roughly 2 full days to finish everything.
Updates 2021 :
The place has since been rented out to a bunch of working adults for RM1600, payment so far is good for 2 years already.
