Unusual Culprit: How Cutlery Clogged a Tenant's Drain Pipe

A new tenant reported that water was spilling out of the outlet pipe connected to the sink. I called a plumber to investigate, assuming that the problem was due to ill-fitting joints. However, the plumber discovered that the issue was a clogged drain pipe that was causing the water to backflow into the sink. To my surprise, the plumber pulled out forks, spoons, and bowls from the drain, indicating that the clogging was caused by the previous tenant. Fortunately, we were able to resolve the issue without resorting to drilling or hacking, and the total cost for clearing the congestion was only RM 100.
