I fixed this 1 year ago but only decided to blog about this. My own house’s glass door lock mechanism could not lock properly. I opened up the lock and found the latch part of the lock was broken.
Usually calling someone to come is going to cost me at least RM100 for such a job. I decided the job can be done DIY. I went to the hardware shop and bought the exact replica (not the same brand) of the same lock for RM22 only.
Replacing the lock was a breeze because it was an exact model so everything fit into place.
