For Runners - How to get to Dataran DBKL Jalan Raja Laut using public transportation LRT MRT 🚄 🏃‍♂️ KL Car Free Morning

Dataran DBKL (Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur) in recent years has become another common place besides Dataran Merdeka to host running events.  It is situated in front of the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur or DBKL), which is the local authority responsible for governing the city. Dataran DBKL serves as a public square and gathering space in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, often hosting various events and activities. It's a notable landmark in the city and is commonly used for cultural, civic, and celebratory occasions.

To get there via Public Transport LRT+MRT is as follows : 

🚄MRT+🚄LRT combination -> drop off at Pasar Seni MRT station then switch to LRT platform and drop off at LRT Masjid Jamek station.

The way to Dataran DBKL is almost the same as Dataran Merdeka. Both exit from Masjid Jamek LRT station but at different directions from Masjid Jamek LRT.


Dataran DBKL is also the starting point for KL Car Free event which is help every Sunday of the month (around 5KM). 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month however there's a 7KM stretch from Dataran DBKL which is car free morning. The trail stretches over until Jalan Ampang area (KLCC).
