Berjaya Corp is a big conglomerate that is no stranger in Malaysia. It owns a majority of the international franchises like Starbucks, Crispy Creme, Kenny Rogers, 7-11, Coway etc. It also owns stakes in hotels.
For some unknown reasons, I was not allowed to take pictures inside the AGM. The AGM was held at Bukit Jalil Golf and Country Club, a hotel under the Berjaya Corp group also.
This stock is super popular among retirees like Nestle as there are so many goodies to collect.
Buffet lunch was served after the AGM.
When came back to office, I lined up all impressive array of food and goodies given during the AGM.
The stock of BJCORP aka Berjaya Corporation is at an all time low. The only consolation to look forward to is the AGM goodies. This stock, just like Nestle can be considered to purchase only odd lots to attend the AGM and get all the goodies.
