One of the important tools which I always forget to bring when doing DIY is the level tool. One issue is that the actual level tool is very bulky. This tool helps to tell whatever is used is straight or not. The level tool has got a water tube with a bubble inside the tube and the line/surface is straight if the bubble is at the center of the water tube.
Today I downloaded an app from smartphone which can actually do the same thing as a physical level tool. The app utilizes the smartphone's internal gyroscope (sensor to detect motion) to perform the level measure.
The app works like a charm and I can say goodbye to bring the bulky physical level tool.
