Is the Covid19 vaccines working in the United States ??

I'm closely watching the daily cases in the United States. I can't tell but there's been a drastic drop in cases in the United States recently after the vaccine distribution to the public started. The cases seems to be dropping off after a high of 300k in January 2021 to 130k cases.

If the vaccines are working, it is matter of time before the economic engine kicks back into full gears again. Recovery in US markets will also be positive to global markets.

Currently 2 vaccines are being deployed in US, the ones from Pfizer BioNTech and Moderna, both these vaccines have shown on paper to have very high efficacy rates. In my opinion, there are too many cases to do social distancing or lockdowns, the rate of vaccines rollouts will determine how a countries gets itself out of this crisis. The Biden administration is also determined to vaccinate 1 million person in a day which is a good sign for the recovery of US. There's another 3rd vaccine candidate from Johnson & Johnson which only needs 1 single jab to be effective should also help on this effort.

Yes, quite sure the cases are dropping but it's not fast enough and it's not confirmed on the effectiveness of the vaccine.

The figures are going down further.

In Israel, the most vaccinated country so far, cases also have reported been dropping.

It's finally now below the 100K mark.

It's May 2021 and the Covid19 pandemic is still a global threat. However, we can see the vaccination drive in US seems to be obviously working. The average cases per day has dropped until 45k.

At the moment I'm invested in US via Public Mutual's PB US Eagle Fund :
