Ripple, the company behind centralized digital asset XRP has bought a 40% stake in Malaysia remittance company Tranglo.
Most consumers are not familiar with Tranglo but they are quite big in the remittance space in Southeast Asia and mostly work with other front facing remittance companies.
Previously Ripple had a stake in Moneygram but now seems like it is focusing on Asia now with this acquisition.
