Astro broadcasting treated shareholders who attended their virtual AGM RM50 Astro GO voucher. Astro Go voucher can be used to purchase items from the ecommerce website Astro GO.
In the past, this stock was a blue chip darling as it dominated over the top digital services in Malaysia before Internet speeds were that fast now.
In recent years, Astro has been facing a lot of competition from Internet streaming services like Netflix, Amazon prime, TM Unifi, and mainly illegal TV android boxes. As such, I only buy this stock for attending AGM and get gifts.
