Just drive in without any Boom barrier
I went to Sunway Pyramid after a long time not visiting this shopping mall. They have a new parking system called Smart Parking which can be accessed via the Sunway pals for life app. The Sunway pals for life app is a loyalty app created for Sunway Group for companies.
How the Smart Parking works is you just have to drive into Sunway Pyramid and then there will be a number plate detector at the parking entrance to detect your car number plate (using image recognition technology). Therefore when you drive into the parking, you don't need to scan anything. When you exit the parking, you need to launch the Sunway Pals for life app, select the Smart Parking icon and proceed to do payment. The payment can be done using credit card and ewallets. Once payment is done, just drive through the exit , the boom gate will open if in system it detects your parking has been paid (based on number plate).
First time users will be fumbling to install the Sunway Pals for life and doing the registration, subsequent visits it will be much easier to pay for parking at Sunway Pyramid. Best is to install and register 1st on Pals for life before coming to Sunway Pyramid. I'm not sure if Smart Parking is available in all the Sunway malls but I'm sure it will be implemented (Sunway Carnival , Sunway Giza Mall , Sunway Putra Mall, Sunway Velocity Mall etc)
