Maybank MAE now has a game campaign called 1SEN-sation . Basically you just need to scan the QRcode given (in the picture) and then transfer 1 cent (RM0.01) and then you will get cash back (more than 1 cent). No, it's not a scam, it's just Maybank's way of getting people accustomed to using their QRPay (Scan & Pay) feature in the Maybank MAE app.
Access to the QRPay feature in Maybank MAE app is called "Scan & Pay", it's the button smacked right in the middle bottom (in picture) of the Maybank MAE app.
The cashback reward is up to RM100 daily. For most of the time, the reward is RM0.10 for each RM0.01 paid (900%). If you happen to get lucky then it's the daily RM100 cashback.
The QR code is basically a 2 dimension square picture consisting of a matrix dots which contains information. You can basically put any information into the QR code (eg websites, payment instructions, maps etc).
