This is the 1st time joining Carlsberg virtual AGM 2022. This stock is known as a good dividend stock. This stock is always compared with Heineken Malaysia (3255) stock.
The highlights of the AGM were :
- Sri Lanka ops via Lion Brewery not expected to be impacted by social unrest there.
- Raw materials for beer is rising (eg barley, hops)
- Sales still below pre-pandemic levels
Profits were up whilst having a small revenue drop.
Participants to virtual AGM were given RM50 Shopee e-voucher for attending the company's AGM. This e-voucher can only be used at the Shopee Carlsberg Malaysia store.
