Maybank just pioneered cardless ATM withdrawals. Cash withdrawals via ATM now can be executed via Maybank MAE.
Before doing so, the cardless ATM withdrawals services needs to be activated 1st via Maybank MAE app. For 1st time activation there will be a 24 hour cooling off time before it can be used. I've activated mine but yet to use it yet.
This is a great feature but I feel the timing is at a wrong period because nowadays everyone is using ewallets and going cashless. I'm quite sure most of the other banks will not put in much effort to launch such a product. However, credit has to be given to Maybank for being bold and innovative enough to pioneer this service, it strengthens the value of the Maybank MAE app further.
