Dating apps are facing a downward shift towards oblivion - too many scammers 💌

 There was a recent report that millennials are staying away from dating apps for both sexes. 

Opening up a commonly used dating app Facebook dating reveals a very big handful of the dating profiles are scammers. For men, the females profiles are all beautiful woman that don’t match their profile description and age. The same goes for woman, the attractive males profiles are all fake attractive, fit and successful man. It is said the way to scam a man is through their eyes while the way to scam the woman is through their heart. These fake profiles are still very abundant in dating apps as many gen X and Y are being successful scammed by the day. As long as the scams still work, fake profiles will be a problem on dating apps.

In the picture above, the lady's name is Farah but can type in Chinese words, is 42 years of age but the profile photos inside shows someone looking half her age.

Some people even put up advertisements as their dating profiles. I've seen insurance agents, property agents and fortune tellers do like that also.

Going on dating apps is already tiring enough for most people, what more with the number of scammers inside.

The modern way of dating in 2021-2022 now is the females will post cute poses to show their beauty while the males will post their life achievements. The males will then directly DM (direct message) the female’s Intagram profile. This way of dating attracts a lot of scammers but not as bad as in dating apps. 2023 the shift will move to Tiktok where females will advertise themselves on Tiktok and let the males approach.
