Seems that now that we are over the Covid scare period, physical company AGMs are now making a comeback. This is true for the world's 2nd largest glove manufacturer after TopGlove, SuperMax.

This year's AGM was held at a physical venue, Eastin Hotel Petaling Jaya. All participants were given 1 box of SuperMax branded blue nitrile gloves and treated to sumptuous lunch box consisting of Yanzhou fried rice, croissant and fruits.

While glove stocks have retreated a lot already, it's still good to keep a few units to attend the AGM. At the moment there is an oversupply of gloves (overproduction) in the market as a result of the Covid pandemic. However, glove stocks have always been a recession proof business and there are currently no product that can just replace the usage of gloves. While the net profit for the year was only RM5.71 million, it's still in profit making position.
