BHP Petrol has recently introduced its loyalty card app, which allows customers to collect points (ePoints) when refueling with petrol. Unlike other petrol ordering apps like Petronas Setel and CaltexGo, this app is focused on rewards for customers.
To start collecting ePoints, simply enter the app ID (last 4 digits of your registered IC) at the Outdoor Payment Terminal after payment has been approved. Then, take the receipt and scan the QR code on it using the app, or show the QR code on the app to the Petrol Station counter staff before fueling.
For every litre of petrol spent, customers earn one BHP ePoint, which can later be redeemed for rewards listed on the app (ecardrewards.bhpetrol.com.my). In addition to the loyalty program, the app also features a petrol station finder, latest fuel prices, and a referral system.
It's worth noting that BHP was formerly known as BP (British Petroleum) before being sold to present-day Boustead Holdings, which now holds a 70% stake in the company. The remaining 30% was acquired by LTAT (Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera), also known as the Armed Forces Fund.
