Scammers now are calling in impersonating Touch N Go ewallet employees to scam people out of their ewallet monies. The scammers will use the Touch N Go logo as their profile picture to make the scam look like it's a genuine caller.
One of the hook to bait victims is to offer them free upgrades of the TnG card to the NFC TnG version. The NFC version is the modern TnG card that can be top up with credits from a the TnG app from mobile phone.
The scam caller's number was 011-72437753.
TnG team is aware of this scam and have been warning the public about it.
