Ninjavan posted warnings about this COD (Cash on Delivery) scam perpetuated by foreign sellers that is happening these days.
These foreign sellers will sell on some lesser known platforms or via Facebook market place offering very huge discounts. Once the orders have been received, the sellers will ship boxes/package of the non-existent product to the buyer. The buyer then pays when the package arrives and after he opens he cannot find the item he ordered. In side the package the seller might put in some dumb weights to make the item appear to be the same weight as the item ordered.
As per standard package delivery practices of COD (DHL, Ninjavan, UPS), buyers are not allowed to open packages without paying 1st. As such, this helps make the scam harder to be realized.
