Make shift mosque

This property is a 2 stry shop office rented out to a glove factory. The glove factory used the property as a hostel to house their Bangladeshi and Nepali workers. The glove factory likes the shop office because it is just 10 mins walking distance from the factory, no need to hire a bus to ferry workers from the factory. Their workers will just wake up then walk to work then walk back after work.

After renting to the glove factory for 2 years and when the tenancy expired, the glove factory decided not re renew the tenancy. One of the reason was that they were getting fined by the local authorities as there were complaints from the residents staying nearby.

Keys were returned to the owner, owner went to do damage assessment. Seems like the place was a total wreck, need to use the leftover 3 months deposit to renovate the place back to its pristine condition. Note : Renovation has since completed, damage was around RM7,500 and needed to top up RM 1,000 as the deposit could not cover the repairs.

What was interesting was there was a makeshift mosque in the 2nd floor, the workers who were from Bangladeshi literally painted the a mosque and use it as their prayer room. It proves that when there is a will, there is a way. As a foreign worker, it's very hard to move around especially where the bus service is very poor, therefore they decided to bring the mosque to the place instead of going to the mosque.
