 Yinson Holdings Berhad is a Malaysian multinational corporation specializing in energy infrastructure, particularly in the offshore oil and gas sector. It is one of the world’s largest independent providers of Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessels, supporting offshore energy production in key markets across Asia, Africa, and South America. In addition to its core FPSO business, Yinson is actively expanding into renewable energy and green technologies, reinforcing its commitment to a sustainable and low-carbon future.

Yinson is also making significant strides in the electric vehicle (EV) sector through its subsidiary, Yinson GreenTech. The company has developed an EV charging network under the brand chargEV, which is one of Malaysia’s largest charging networks, supporting the transition to sustainable transportation. In addition to expanding its charging infrastructure, Yinson GreenTech is involved in various clean energy mobility solutions, including electric buses and marine electrification projects, aligning with its long-term vision of reducing carbon emissions and promoting green technology adoption.





In 2025, Yinson held its Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM), where shareholders were not only updated on the company’s strategic direction but also treated to generous perks. Attendees received a RM20 KFC voucher as a token of appreciation and were welcomed with a breakfast buffet, enhancing the overall shareholder experience.  An additional RM10 KFC voucher was given after voting also.



Grab Malaysia has signed an MoU with BYD Sime Motors, Yinson GreenTech (YGT), and Power-Up Tech to promote EV adoption among its ride-hailing drivers. The partnership aims to provide access to EVs at competitive rates and improve charging infrastructure. YGT will offer leasing packages, including preferential charging rates and maintenance, starting with 10 units of the BYD M6.
