Public Bank is marking its 60th anniversary with the 60th Diamond Jubilee Celebration Campaign. The event runs from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2026, offering customers the chance to win various prizes by using the bank's products and services.

Participants earn Diamond Entries (aka Diamond Points) based on their banking activity. The more entries a customer collects in a month, the higher their chances of winning.

  • The campaign features a large prize pool, including: 60 Electric Vehicles: This includes luxury models and special Proton e.MAS 7.
  • Cash Prizes: Amounts ranging from RM1,600 to RM2,000.
  • Smartwatches: 6,000 limited edition units are available.
  • Milestone Rewards: Customers who reach certain entry levels may qualify for guaranteed cash rewards.

The red Proton e.MAS 7 used in this campaign is an exclusive colour specifically for this event and is not available for retail sale through standard dealerships.  Car winners must attend a Prize Presentation Ceremony in Kuala Lumpur.

1. Banking & Deposits
* Open a new account → 10 entries
* Increase savings/current account balance by RM5,000 → 2 entries
* Maintain RM300,000 fixed deposit → 1 entry

2. Digital Transactions
* Make 3 transactions totaling RM500 using:
    * DuitNow
    * Bill payment
    * FPX (IBG)
Each category 1 entry.

3. Investments & Insurance
* Invest RM5,000 in unit trusts (Public Mutual funds) → 4 entries
* Buy travel or personal accident insurance (RM250+) → 1 entry
* Insurance premium RM4,000 → 4 entries
* Entries also available for gold purchases and share trading

4. Loans & Credit Cards
* New credit card approval → 5 entries
* Spend RM3,000 on credit card → 1 entry
* Housing loan RM300,000+ → 5 entries
* Car loan RM30,000+ → 3 entries

The fastest way to build entries is through major account or product sign ups. If you qualify as a New To Bank (NTB) customer with no previous relationship with Public Bank Berhad or Public Islamic Bank, you immediately receive 10 entries just for joining.

Taking a housing or fixed loan of at least RM300,000 while maintaining a CASA account provides 5 entries. Similarly, applying and getting approval for a new principal credit card from Public Bank Berhad also earns 5 entries.

For ongoing entry accumulation, investment and insurance products generate strong returns per Ringgit. Investing RM5,000 in selected unit trust funds from Public Mutual such as PB Series, Public e Series Equity, Balanced, Mixed Asset, or PRS funds gives 4 entries.

Regular premium bancassurance products distributed through Public Bank Berhad earn 4 entries for every RM4,000 of annual premium. Meanwhile, approved hire purchase financing of at least RM30,000 while maintaining a CASA account provides 3 entries.

Public Bank Berhad provides retail and corporate banking services including property loans, vehicle hire purchase financing, SME lending, deposits, and trade finance. It also distributes unit trusts through Public Mutual (PMB) and offers Islamic banking (4th largest in Malaysia). The bank operates mainly in Malaysia with smaller presences in Hong Kong, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, and Sri Lanka. Services are delivered through branches, ATMs, and digital platforms such as PBe Online Banking and the Public Bank Mobile App.

The bank distributes insurance through partnerships with AIA Group for life insurance and Syarikat Takaful Malaysia for Islamic takaful products. General insurance such as motor and fire coverage is mainly provided by Lonpac Insurance, a subsidiary of LPI Capital (Lonpac Insurance), where Public Bank holds a significant stake. This setup allows the bank to offer loans, deposits, and insurance without underwriting the insurance risk.

Stockbroking and investment banking are handled by Public Investment Bank PIVB. It provides equity trading on Bursa Malaysia, margin financing, research, IPO participation, and corporate advisory services.
