Facebook Scam Ads 😡 - Too Many and Gone Too Far Already - Rimowa, Michael Kors, G-Shock, Gamin, Shokz

Just because you trust Facebook does not mean you can trust the ads
It’s already 2024, and Facebook is no longer the platform I once knew. It now seems to be inundated with ads from scammers.

For example, scammers have created a Facebook account named "Shopping Mall Pavillion," making it appear as if it is affiliated with Pavillion Shopping Mall in Malaysia. They then advertise unbelievably low prices on branded Rimowa bags to deceive victims.

In the 2nd example, scammers have created a Facebook account named "Berita Harian Online" making it appear as if it is affiliated with the popular Malay newspaper in Malaysia. They then advertise unbelievably low prices on branded Michael Kors bags to deceive victims.

I have reported many ads to Facebook, but their responses seem insincere. The advertiser doesn't appear to be banned; only the ads are removed. Understandable Facebook relies on ad revenues such as these to survive and hence they will take some time to take strict action against these scammers.
