Raiz Rewards Malaysia by Raiz Invest - cash back into investments 💵 - spend and save

Robo Advisor Raiz Invest has launched new feature called Raiz Rewards. It's basically a cash back program where Raiz Invest partners with merchants to provide cashbacks to purchasers.  Raiz Rewards is not a new feature and was previously launched earlier in their Australian version.

The idea is simple, from the Raiz app's Raiz Rewards function, click on the merchant link to launch the merchant's ecommerce site. The link contains a unique code which will let the merchant know to do cashbacks to the Raiz Account for successful transactions. The cashbacks given by the merchants are placed into Raiz Account and reinvested.

The merchants on Raiz Rewards are all the usual big names like Shopee, Lazada, Sephora, MrDIY and Caring Pharmacy. 

One thing to take note is different merchants offer different amounts of cashbacks and there are different terms and conditions. As such, it would be prudent to read through the merchant's cash back program 1st before doing any purchase.

Raiz Rewards is a good step forward for Raiz Invest. I'm quite pleased that the merchants partnered with Raiz are merchants that appeals to all segments of the population (eg Lazada, Shopee, MrDY). I was worried initially Raiz Rewards would only feature merchants who are in the upper segment of the market. 

I have yet to test out Raiz Rewards but will do in the near future since now there's a way to shop and invest at the same time (Berbelanja sambil Melabur).

In summary 2 points to take note when using Raiz Rewards

1. Always read the terms and conditions from the merchant
2. Use the Raiz Rewards link to go to the merchant site to do purchases.

My Raiz Rewards now yielding some returns after using the link to buy from Lazada.

One more thing to add is Airasia (aka Capital A) is also listed as new Raiz Rewards merchant now.
